Francine Kitkowski named REALTOR of the Year

Francine Kitkowski REALTOR of the Year 2017 Marinette Board of REALTORSFrancine Kitkowski of State Wide Real Estate of Marinette and Menominee has been named the REALTOR of the year by the Marinette County Board of Realtors.

Kitkowski received the 2017 Excellence in Professionalism Award, given to the REALTOR of the Year, at the board’s quarterly meeting Sept. 27 at Newingham’s in Wausaukee. The award is presented to a REALTOR who shows the utmost professionalism in the field, is engaged in board activities and is involved in civic or service clubs. The winner must be nominated by a MCBOR member and then approved by the awards committee.

Francine, who has been with State Wide since 2013, has been a REALTOR for more than 25 years. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Wisconsin Realtors Association, Marinette County Board of Realtors, Multiple Listing Services and the Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce.

She is one of two REALTORS in the Marinette County Board of Realtors who has earned the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification. Kitkowski also founded and chairs the safety committee for the MCBOR, chairs the public relations committee and the program and social committee.

Kitkowski, a REALTOR Broker associate in Wisconsin and Michigan, just released her first book, “Opening Doors – What You Must Know When Selling Real Estate in Marinette and Menominee Counties.” The book is available at Amazon.com.

Francine has been a member of the Rainbow House Domestic Abuse Services board of directors for the past nine years, including the last seven years as board president. She also does volunteer work for the Salvation Army. Kitkowski is married, with two adult children.
