Coleman is a village in Marinette County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 724 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Marinette, WI–MI Micropolitan Statistical Area. A Mr. Coleman owned most of the land in the area, hence the name of the town.

As of 2011, Coleman’s population is 742 people. Since 2000, it has had a population growth of 3.63 percent. The median home cost in Coleman is $107,200. Home appreciation the last year has been -1.64 percent. Compared to the rest of the country, Coleman’s cost of living is 11.30% Lower than the U.S. average. Coleman was established in 1903 and, like much of Marinette County, its main industry was lumber. Shortly after, a new highway, U.S. 141, was constructed and it remains the main thoroughfare through the community. The village’s motto still holds true today: New settlers are always welcomed and encouraged to join and prosper within the community.

Many businesses in Coleman belong to the Cougar Country Business Association. The high school’s nickname is the “Cougars” and the school has been a wrestling powerhouse, contending for multiple state championships in the past 20 years.

Coleman has an ATV club, the North East Wisconsin Riders, and a snowmobile group, the Kumalong Sno Riders, which was established in 1967 and today includes more than 80 families. There are 300 landowners that allow the club to use their land and more than 600 miles of trails in Marinette County.
